CEC-CCEE Joint Committee Meeting

17-19 November 2014, Hannover – Germany

Communication of Christian Faith in Today’s Europe

CEC and the Council of European Bishops’ Conferences (CEEE) intend to examine communication practices and policies on the basis of Biblical values at the above meeting. What makes for good communication of the Gospel and the Message of the Church? Does the Christian faith provide us with any criteria by which we could discern good from bad communication?

The challenge for the communication of Christian faith is to achieve the same impact on the life of modern people that the original Gospel message had on its initial audience.
